Sales Manager | Fulltime

To further expand our sales team, we are looking for a SALES MANAGER for the UK.

Matco International is a dynamic, internationally oriented company. With branches in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, UK and Spain, we offer a workplace to around 100 employees. We are a machine manufacturer of pallet wrappers, which we also service and maintain with 20 service engineers. To completely relieve our customers of their needs, we also assist them with the selection and supply of stretch film.

As Sales Manager, you will develop the UK market and sell fully automatic machines and packaging lines in combination with stretch film and after sales activities. You like to pioneer and tap into new markets and contacts with ease and you also develop and maintain relationships with already existing customers.

Technical insight, commercial ability and eagerness to develop the UK market are very important in this position. Matco exists for almost 50 years and has a lot of knowledge and expertise. Your duties will include the following tasks:

• Identifying potential customers and analysing customer needs.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the interest of he sales strategy.
• Acquire orders based on set targets and achieve desired margins and market share.
• Transfer project information to the organisation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Based on the sales plan, realise sales targets with regard to turnover, market share and margin.
• On the basis of internal guidelines, issuing quotations and negotiating contracts/orders.

You have:

• Bachelor degree, direction technical or commercial with technical affinity.
• You have good analytical and commercial insight and like to take a practical approach.
• In addition, you think in solutions; your proactive attitude and good social and communicative skills enable you to switch quickly.
• Your drive ensures that you get the best out of yourself and the market and you do not rest until you have achieved your set goals.
• You work with a high degree of independence, but you operate just as easily in a team.
• You have a good command of the English language.
