Intralogistic projects
As Supervisor, you are responsible for the correct execution of the mechanical and electrical assembly/installation at customer sites of logistics systems, technical installations, machines or parts. You do this on the basis of supplied drawings or available information, finding it a challenge and ensuring that the work is realised within the set planning and budget.
Your duties include the following tasks:
- Ensuring optimal project preparation for execution.
- Planning and optimising staff and material requirements.
- Supervising and managing the daily assembly activities.
- Managing all assembly personnel present in the workshop.
- Managing any external employees and (sub)contractors.
- Prioritising (in consultation with the customer), taking delivery time and costs into account.
- Reporting progress and details to the Project Manager and client and acting as contact person for the client.
- Checking that the work is carried out in accordance with requirements (quality, safety, scope and specifications).
- Carrying out quality checks of both own and others’ work according to the work assignment.
- Ensuring that all administrative activities are carried out in accordance with procedures (accounting for hours, extra/less work, project progress, etc.)
- Operating lifting and transport equipment (incl. forklift truck – only with certificate).
- Supervising safety in (of) own workplace as well as other people’s workplaces.
- Monitoring and correct use of tools, machines, resources and consumables.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for correct and timely execution of project mechanical and electrical work on site.
- Responsible for timely and correct reporting on timesheets, more/less work, project progress etc.
- Responsible that proper quality control of work performed.Correct application of the quality, safety and environmental regulations and calling others to account.Suggesting and discussing improvements with regard to the project.
- Contact/ ace point of contact on site for own staff, hired staff, subcontractor and client.
Your personal qualifications are:
- You have mechatronic knowledge and experience equivalent to MBO level 4.
- You also have leadership skills or naturally often take the lead in a group.
- You think in solutions; your proactive attitude and good communication skills enable you to switch quickly.
- Reading drawings is not a problem for you.
- You have a good command of Dutch and English. Other languages are a bonus.
- You have a forklift truck and VCA-VOL certificate or are willing to obtain these.
- You also have a BE driving licence.
