For its new warehouse in Duisburg, Stenkamp Logistik GmbH was looking for a stand-alone pallet wrapping unit with a capacity of at least 120 pallets per hour. In addition to wrapping, the pallets also had to be labelled and then stacked in pairs.
Especially the low conveyor belt of 80 mm, which simplifies the putting on and taking off of pallets, makes Stenkamp choose MATCO’s ALC Low Transport. Now a total of 2 single or 4 double pallets can be taken down simultaneously by means of an electric pallet truck (EPT). A forklift truck is superfluous.
Stenkamp has chosen for an ALC45 dust-proof version to be able to process 130 pallets per hour, naturally with a lift table for load stability. On the output side there is a labelling machine to place a label on 2 sides. Then a pallet doubler to place 2 pallets on top of each other. The take-out section is a low roller conveyor where a total of 2 single or 4 double pallets can be taken out at the same time.
